Affiliate Program Terms

Version 1. Effective October 27, 2026

These terms explain how PacketStream’s affiliate program works: who can join, what earns commission, when it can be withdrawn, and what is not allowed. Please read them before you apply.

1. About these terms

These Affiliate Program Terms (“Affiliate Terms”) are an agreement between you and PacketStream Inc. (“PacketStream,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) about the PacketStream affiliate program (the “Program”). They add to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply. If these Affiliate Terms conflict with the Terms of Service about the Program, these Affiliate Terms apply.

The Program launched on October 27, 2026 at 00:00 UTC (the “launch date”). Customer referral credit and the first-deposit bonus for referred customers are covered by the separate Referral Program Terms.

2. Eligibility and approval

  • You must have a PacketStream account in good standing and meet the eligibility requirements in Section 1 of the Terms of Service, including being at least 18 years old.
  • Each person or business may hold one affiliate membership, on one account. If you already have a PacketStream account, apply from it rather than creating another.
  • You must be able to receive PayPal payouts in USD, and we must be legally permitted to pay you. We cannot pay a person or place subject to U.S. sanctions.
  • To apply, create an account at app.packetstream.io/signup?account=affiliate or apply from the Share & earn page of your dashboard. Describe accurately where and how you will promote PacketStream.
  • We review every application and may approve or decline it at our discretion. We may ask for more information before deciding. You become an affiliate when we approve your application.
  • Before approval, or if we decline your application, your referral link can still earn customer referral credit under the Referral Program Terms.

3. Commission

Rate

You earn commission of 20% of each qualifying deposit made by a referred customer whose deposits earn commission (see “Which program applies” below), unless we agree a different rate with you in writing.

Qualifying deposits

A qualifying deposit is a payment that adds funds to a referred customer’s PacketStream balance and is processed by Stripe (such as a card payment) or PayPal. Cryptocurrency payments, bank transfers made directly to PacketStream, promotional or trial credit, referral credit and bonuses, transfers from a reseller, and funds added any other way are not qualifying deposits and never earn commission.

Window

Only qualifying deposits made within 12 months after the referred customer created their account earn commission. Deposits after that earn none.

Cap

You can earn at most $2,000 in commission from any one referred customer.

Which program applies

Whether a referred customer’s deposits earn you affiliate commission or customer referral credit is decided once, at that customer’s first qualifying deposit. If you are an approved affiliate at that moment, their qualifying deposits earn commission under these Affiliate Terms. If you are not, they earn customer referral credit under the Referral Program Terms. The decision does not change afterwards, including if you are approved later or your participation ends.

The rate, cap and window that apply to a referred customer are those in force at that customer’s first qualifying deposit.

4. Referrals and attribution

A referred customer is a person who creates a new PacketStream account through your referral link on or after the launch date, under the rules in this section.

  • How a referral is recorded. Your referral link carries your referral code and works on any packetstream.io page. When a signed-out visitor opens it, we store your code in a cookie in their browser for 60 days. If they create an account in that browser within those 60 days, the account is recorded as your referral.
  • First touch. If the browser already holds a referral code, a later link, whether yours or another person’s, does not replace it.
  • Fixed at signup. A referral is recorded once, when the account is created, and is not changed afterwards. We may correct a referral that was recorded in error or that is the subject of a dispute; a correction applies only to commission on deposits made after it.
  • What is not a referral. Opening a link while signed in to PacketStream records nothing. We cannot credit a signup made in a different browser or device, after the cookie has expired, or after the visitor has cleared or blocked cookies. These are never referrals: accounts created before the launch date, even if they first deposit later; people who already have a PacketStream account, including any new account they create; your own accounts; and reseller subaccounts.
  • Our records. Attribution and commission are calculated from our records. If you believe something is wrong, contact help@packetstream.io.

5. Hold, reversals and offset

  • Hold. Each commission is held for 90 days after the deposit it was earned on. After the hold it becomes available to withdraw, unless it has been reversed or is under review.
  • Reversals. If a deposit is refunded or charged back, we reverse the commission earned on it. If we ban a referred customer’s account, we reverse their commission that is still held, and we may reverse commission on their deposits that was already available or paid.
  • Offset. When we reverse commission that was already available or paid, the reversal is recorded as a negative amount and offset against your future commission. You cannot request a commission payout while your commission balance is negative.
  • Linked accounts. If a referred customer appears to be you, or linked to you (for example, by sharing an email address, payment account, PayPal address or the internet connection used to sign up), we hold the commission for review and may decline it. That customer does not receive the first-deposit bonus (Referral Program Terms, Section 5).
  • Reviews. We may hold commission or a payout while we review activity that may break these Affiliate Terms or the Terms of Service.

6. Payouts and taxes

  • Commission is paid in USD through PayPal only, to the PayPal address on your account. To protect your account, a change of PayPal address may delay your next payout.
  • You can request a payout when your available commission is at least $25. Commission is withdrawn separately from bandwidth earnings and Packeter referral earnings, and the $25 minimum applies to commission alone.
  • Payouts are processed on the schedule, and are subject to the cashout fee, set out in Section 5 of the Terms of Service. The fee is currently 3%. PayPal may charge its own fees.
  • If PayPal returns a payout or we reject a payout request, the amount goes back to your available commission, unless it is forfeited under Section 10.
  • Available commission can also pay for PacketStream services. If your account uses services billed from its balance, purchased funds and credit are used first; when they run out, usage continues from your withdrawable balance, which includes available commission.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on commission you receive. Depending on where you live and how much we have paid you in a calendar year, we may ask for tax information, such as a tax form, before we send a payout, and we may hold payouts until we receive it. We may report payments to tax authorities where the law requires.

7. How you may promote PacketStream

  • Describe PacketStream accurately, using facts from our website and documentation. Do not make false, misleading or unsupported claims about PacketStream, its prices or what it can be used for.
  • Do not present yourself as PacketStream, or suggest that we endorse your content, unless we agree in writing.
  • Do not promote PacketStream for any use that Section 7 of the Terms of Service prohibits.
  • Follow the laws that apply to you and your audience, including advertising, consumer-protection, privacy and anti-spam laws.

8. Disclosure

Every time you share your referral link or recommend PacketStream where you may earn commission, you must clearly disclose that you earn a commission. U.S. law requires this, as the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides explain, and many other countries have similar rules.

  • Put the disclosure close to the link or recommendation, where people will see it before they click, in the same language as your content.
  • Sample wording: “I earn a commission if you sign up through this link.”
  • In videos and live streams, say it aloud in the video, and also put it in the description next to the link.
  • A label such as “affiliate link” on its own is not enough.

We may review your content and ask you to correct a disclosure.

9. Prohibited methods

You may not use any of these methods. Commission earned through them is not owed.

  • Self-referral and related parties: signing up through your own link, or referring accounts that you own or control, or that belong to members of your household or family, your employer, your employees, or a business you own or control.
  • Brand and typo bidding: bidding on “PacketStream,” its misspellings or variations as keywords in search or other paid advertising, or using them in domain names, social media handles or app names.
  • Cookie stuffing: placing your referral code in a browser without the person deliberately choosing to open your link, for example through hidden frames or images, pop-ups or pop-unders, automatic redirects, browser extensions, scripts, or links disguised as something else.
  • Incentivised signups: paying, rewarding or sharing your commission with people for signing up or depositing, including through cashback or rebate offers, unless we approve it in writing.
  • Unapproved coupons and offers: publishing coupon codes, discounts or bonuses that we have not approved in writing. You may describe the first-deposit bonus in the Referral Program Terms accurately.
  • Spam: unsolicited email, messages, comments or posts; posting your link where a site’s or community’s rules forbid it; using bought or scraped contact lists; or using automated accounts to post.
  • Other manipulation: fake reviews, fake accounts, or anything else that manipulates referrals, deposits or commission, as described in Section 7 of the Terms of Service.

10. Suspension, termination and forfeiture

  • You may leave the Program at any time by contacting help@packetstream.io.
  • We may end your participation with 30 days’ notice for any reason, or immediately if you break these Affiliate Terms or the Terms of Service. While we investigate a suspected breach, we may suspend your participation and hold your commission and payouts.
  • When your participation ends, deposits made after that date earn no commission. Commission earned before then completes its hold and can be withdrawn under Section 6.
  • If your participation ends because you broke these Affiliate Terms or the Terms of Service, you forfeit all commission that has not been paid, whether held or available.

11. Privacy

We never tell you who the customers you referred are. Your dashboard shows totals only. We handle your application, account and payout information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these Affiliate Terms or end the Program. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email and on this page before a change takes effect, unless the law requires it sooner or the change is needed to stop fraud or abuse.

A change to the rate, cap or window applies only to referred customers whose first qualifying deposit is made after the change takes effect. Other changes apply from the date they take effect. A change does not reduce commission you have already earned. If you do not agree to a change, you may leave the Program before it takes effect; staying in the Program after that means you accept it.

13. General

You take part in the Program as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms makes you PacketStream’s employee, agent or partner, and you may not make commitments on our behalf. The disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and other general terms in the Terms of Service apply to the Program.

Questions about the Program may be sent to help@packetstream.io.
