How to tell it’s the real app.

Other websites and app stores sometimes use our name. Only the Download page in your dashboard gives you the official PacketStream app.

  • The dashboard is at app.packetstream.io. Check the address bar before you log in or download.
  • The files come from client-dl.packetstream.io. The Windows, macOS and Android downloads all come from this address.
  • The Linux command starts with curl -fsSL https://packetstream.io/install.sh. Copy the whole command from your dashboard.
  • The Android app is never on Google Play. Apps on Google Play that use the PacketStream name are not ours.
  • Found a fake? Don’t install it. Tell us at help@packetstream.io.

FAQ

Download questions.

Is the PacketStream app on Google Play?
No. The Android app is never on Google Play. Apps on Google Play that use the PacketStream name are not ours. Get the Android app only from the Download page in your dashboard.
Can I use PacketStream on an iPhone or iPad?
No. PacketStream runs on Windows 10 or newer, macOS 14 or newer, Linux with Docker Engine 24.0 or newer, and Android 8.0 or newer. iPhone and iPad are not supported.
I already run PacketStream in Docker on Linux. What should I do?
Copy the one-line install command from the Download page in your dashboard and run it on that computer. If you already run the older PacketStream Docker container, the same command upgrades it.
Can I install PacketStream on more than one device?
Only one device can share from each public IP address. If two devices use the same internet connection, only one of them shares at a time.
How do I know a download is real?
Download only from the Download page in your dashboard at app.packetstream.io. The Windows, macOS and Android files come from client-dl.packetstream.io, and the Linux command starts with https://packetstream.io/install.sh. Do not install PacketStream from any other website or app store.
