To temporarily disable PacketStream and stop sharing your bandwidth, simply close the PacketStream client application on your device. This will immediately halt bandwidth sharing until you decide to resume by reopening the application.
Uninstalling the PacketStream client is straightforward. For Windows, go to 'Add or Remove Programs', find PacketStream in the list, and select 'Uninstall'. Packeters are paid through PayPal. The minimum cashout amount is $5. Once you have accrued at least this amount in earnings, you can request a payout through the PacketStream dashboard. A 3% fee is applied to cashouts.
No, PacketStream requires residential IPs to maintain the quality and reliability of our proxy network. Running our client from datacenter or business IPs does not align with our operational policies, as these IPs do not offer the geographic diversity and typical residential characteristics required for our services.
